APAR status

Error description

  • The OPS_NODE_INFO.NODE_URL field host name value is derived
from a runtime host query and could bea  different value than
the OPS_NOD for the Liberty server nodes. This could result in
a URL that does not have an associated interface which could
result in the node being flagged as down.

Users using the REST API in Liberty Node



Problem Description:



OPS_NODE_INFO table Liberty node records could have different
hostnames than those of the B2B Integrator nodes in the
NODE_URL field.
This could result in the failure of the Recovery business
process and also
cause the Node to be marked as Down, if the associated interface
is missing for the host.

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:

A code fix is provided.

Using the NODE_URL host name from the INSTALL_IP property,
allows manual configuration of the host name for the
Liberty node.
