APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The config-sequence experiences a failure opening a file
descriptor for a cfg file in preparation to run it. Once the
failure occurs, the abort processing in CS does not properly
drive the state machine for the run, resulting in CS
permanently thinking a run is underway, and it getting "stuck".

Problem summary


    

  • When an API is published the device may fail to notice that a
local configuration file could not be opened so the
configuration sequence may not complete.
