IT30607: EXAMPLE FROM THE MAP POLICY PROPERTY'S INLINE SCHEMA FAILS MAP POLICY TO COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY

Error description

• Using the xml, while trying to generate the inline schema in map
  activity.
  while executing the API getting the below error.
  Please suggest. { "httpCode": "500", "httpMessage": "Internal
  Error", "moreInformation": "The assembly Map action failed."
  }
  
  On apigw, the inline schema is creating a very large map json
  object which is failing to parse. Looking at the DP logs I
  see

Local fix

• There very long string in the example property for the schema.
  
  As a workaround, by removing the example XML in the inline in
  API yaml, this JSON parsing error will not occur and the API
  will work successfully.
  

Problem summary

• Mapper activities fail to generate any inline schema in APIM.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is available in 2018.4.1.9.
