Error description

  • The IBM Cloud Pak System Charge Back report shows zero CPU and
Memory values for virtual machines that did not have the
expected SNMP configuration (for example, having 'public' vs
'pureapp' community name)

Problem summary


    

  • In any organization charge back report, it is missing any CPU
or MEMORY usage.
CPU allocated, CPU used, min CPU used, max CPU used, average
memory, allocated memory, used min memory, used max memory, used
average are all showing 0.0.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The chargeback_vm_usage_job (async job) was failing due to
SNMPWALK command issue, so it was showing 0. - This has been
fixed on Cloud Pak System 2.3.0.1 level.
