Error description

When providing individual GPFS user UID and/or GPFS user group
GID, the deployment will fail with en ERROR on AIX.

The following messages can be seen in the trace.log file:

Local fix

  • Do not provide any individual UID and GID values.

Problem summary

  • Problem with REST API : Make the deployed shared service
available - GPFS Client connection issue - FIX in 2320

Problem conclusion

  • GPFS client policy allowed to take optional UID/GID values
