APAR status

Error description

  • Adding route script /opt/ibm/fixnetwork/update_network.py fails
intermittently for VMs where the deployment.json gets download
before the VMID was added to it by the IWD. The fix is to
handle the exception when VMID is not found and download
the deployment.json from store house again to make sure the VM
ID exist.

  • Modify the update_network.py to handle the exception when the
deployment.json do not contain the respective JSON string. This
has been fixed on the Cloud Pak System 2.3.1.0 level.
