IT29236: DATAPOWER MIGHT ERRONEOUSLY CANCEL TRANSACTION IF TRANSACTION TIMEOUT IS SET IN CONJUNCTION WITH PERSISTENT CONNECTIONS
Closed as program error.
If a DataPower service, such as the Multi-Protocol Gateway, has a transaction-timeout configured with a non-zero value, and persistent connections are enabled on the Front Side Handler, the service might incorrectly cancel a transaction that is sent over a reused connection, if the connection has been idle for longer than the configured transaction-timeout.
Affected is the use of persistent connections. A transaction might be incorrectly canceled in case a non-zero connection timeout is configured.
Fix is available in 188.8.131.52 and 2018.4.1.7 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
