APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
In Assembly Tools, we are not responding correctly to an OPTIONS request when path parameters in Header is set to required. This is request produced by the browser/API Assembly Test tool when initially making CORS OPTIONS. Instead of responding with 200OK with Access-Control-* headers, we respond with 400 Bad Request, missing required parameters. APIC & DP: 2018.4.1.3 & 2018.4.1.1. Test in: API Gateway Methods: GET, POST (rest untested)
Local fix
The only workaround is to not use required parameters OR to somehow avoid doing cross-origin requests.
Problem summary
When user sends the OPTIONS request with the header parameter which is defined as required, it shows a CORS error.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 2018.4.1.4 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
