APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a local durable subscription points to a remote clustered
    queue that has been set PUT(DISABLED) and a publisher puts a
    message to the associated topic, a memory exception (SIGSEGV)
    occurs in the function kqiPutMessageToSubscriber.
    
    The amqzlaa0 process fails and the following Failure Data
    Capture (FDC) record is produced with the following Probe Id,
    Component, and Function Stack:

  • Set the problem queue to PUT(ENABLED).

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ code has been corrected to cease using a null pointer.
