APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Invoking a SOAP service by providing in the SOAPAction a URL
enclosed in double quotes results in HTTP 404.

Local fix

  • Remove double quotes character from SOAPAction header.

Problem summary

  • Gateway cannot handle SOAP header with URL surrounded by
double quotes.

Problem conclusion

  • Allow quotations in the SOAPAction Header value.

Fixed In: 2018.4.1.3

Temporary fix

  • Ensure SOAPAction Header does not have surrounding quotation
marks.
