The user attempted a traceroute or ping and faced an unexpected reload if an interface has not had any appropriate default gateway or static route.
Local fix
Ensure default gateway / static route is set appropriately.
Problem summary
Do not reload in the unlikely event that the device cannot send the UDP packet for ping or traceroute commands.
