APAR status

Error description

  • Running command "mq" in config mode causes IBM MQ Appliance
    reload or generates the following error.
    
    % Can not find new SSD drives available in the system.
    
    % Can not proceed with the M2001 upgrade.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    Users running command "mq" in config mode.
    
    
    Platforms affected:

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When the user tries to execute the command "mq", the IBM MQ
    Appliance was incorrectly trying to run an internal command and
    this resulted in an Appliance reload or an error.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM MQ Appliance code has been modified to prevent the
    reload.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
