    Storage media is inaccessible.

The following User Response should be added

    User Response-

Check the server or storage agent activity log to see if there

Problem conclusion

  • The Message Text, Explanation, and User Response sections of the
message ANR1081E will be updated. The updated message text will
    be as follows:

    ANR1081E Message Text:
The space reclamation process is stopped for volume <<volume
name>>. The storage volume is inaccessible.

    Explanation:
The specified volume could not be mounted. If you are using a
tape library with mixed generation tape drives, tape cartridges
that are compatible with all drives must be used. If not, the
server or storage agent cannot access the storage media.

    System action:
Space reclamation of the volume stops. If other reclamation
processes are in progress, these processes continue.

    User response:
Verify that you are using a storage volume that is compatible
with all drives. Review the server or storage agent activity log
    for other warning or error messages related to the volume;
correct the problem and wait for the server to retry the
    reclamation.

For more information about using mixed media, go to the online
    product documentation at
    https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEQVQ/landing/welco
me_sseqvq.html. Then, search for the "Mixed media and storage
pools" or the "DEFINE DEVCLASS" topics.

Affected platforms for reported release: AIX, Linux, and
    Windows.
