IT24076: URL-OPEN MAY PROCESS BACKEND ERRORS DIFFERENTLY WHEN FOLLOWING A REDIRECT
A fix is available
Closed as fixed if next.
When using a url-open which is attempting to process backend errors, the url-open may not process backend errors if it is first redirected. For example, when using the urlopen module in GatewayScript and the backend responds with a HTTP 400 status code, this will not be considered an error from the callback. However, if the backed returns a redirect such as a HTTP 302 status code and the redirect location returns a HTTP 400 status code this will be considered an error in the callback.
When using a url-open which is attempting to process backend errors, the url-open may not process backend errors if it is first redirected. This causes the url-open to behave differently for error handling in the case where redirection occurs when compared to the case where no redirection occurs making correct error handling difficult.
Fix is available in 188.8.131.52.
