Error description
Data Center Node has vm nodes as filespaces. Backups and replication are at the Data Center Level. A vm node/filespace is decommissioned on both the source and target, replication is then disabled for this vm's filespace. When Expiration runs it will delete the entries from Filespace_ReplRules table associated with the filespace(VM) before deleting the filespace. The filespace cannot be deleted as the policy retention has not passed. Because the entries from Filespace_ReplRules associated with the filespace(VM) have been deleted this will cause querying of the filespace, re-enabling the REPLSTATE due to no entry in the Filespace_ReplRules for the vm filespace. The server assigns it the default REPLSTATE of enable. Replication of a decommissioned vm node should not occur thus causing the error. Customer/L2 Diagnostics (if applicable) ANR1893E Process ### for Replicate Node completed with a completion state of FAILURE. *NOTE* None Platforms affected: Unix/Linux/Windows 7.1., 8.1 Initial Impact: Medium Additional Keywords: TSM Tivoli Storage ManagerExpire virtual machine fs
Local fix
1) Re- disable replication for the decommissioned vm node filespace after expiration, before the next replication. 2) "Delete Filespace" of the decommissioned vm node filespace
