Error description
The user observed that changes to a DataPower B2B Gateway using the Blueprint console caused unexpected stripping of the set Document Storage Location. While "(default)" and "nfs-..." are common and unaffected, this user against best practices set "local:///ondisk" as Document Storage Location via CLI (against best practices because this way the payloads are not stored in the encrypted B2B partition of DP). The classic WebGUI is able to render "local:///ondisk" successfully and retain it. However Blueprint does strip it on editing other fields of the B2BGW. Before APAR IT19552 (7.5.2.7) Blueprint will strip down to "local:/" which completely breaks the desired setting. With APAR IT19552 there is still a stripping from "local:///ondisk" to "local:/ondisk" - while this is technically equivalent, it still breaks with existing conventions so is expected to be fixed in Blueprint to work seamless like in WebGUI.
Local fix
Use WebGUI instead of Blueprint to change B2BGW config if not using standard Document Storage Location like "(default)" or "nfs-..." but unusual location set via CLI like "local:///ondisk". The best practice is to avoid non-standard Document Storage Location anyway.
Problem summary
DataPower BluePrint console resets document locations from three forward slashes to one.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 7.5.1.13, 7.5.2.13 and 7.6.0.6 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
