APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In some cases when using a Web Services Management Agent with a
capture-mode of all-messages, the WSM Agent Status might
report a higher than expected value for Memory Used. If this
value exceeds the max-memory configuration of the agent, new
records might be discarded and reported against Records
lost even though the true value of Memory Used is much
    lower.

Local fix

  • capture-mode of something other than all-messages

Problem summary

  • The Web Services Management Agent might incorrectly calculate
the Memory used for certain records leading to a gradually
permanent increase in that value over time. If the value gets
high enough, new records might fail to be processed.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
