Error description

  • IIB V10.0.0.3 or above and IIB V9.0.0.6 or above show
performance degradation for message flows with FileInput nodes
configured for SFTP transport.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus V9.0.0.6 or above, V10.0.0.3 or
above, and IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 using the FileNodes
with SFTP transport.


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
IIB V10.0.0.3 or above, IIB V9.0.0.6 or above, and IBM App
Connect Enterprise V11 show performance degradation for message
flows with FileInput nodes configured for SFTP transport. This
is caused by the change in key exchange algorithms used by the
Jsch library version shipped with IIB installation.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product now introduced an environment variable
''MQSI_FILENODES_SFTP_USE_JSCH150_OPTIONS', once this
environment variable is set the Jsch libraries will proceed with
the key exchange algorithm used in the previous versions of Jsch
and it avoids the high CPU usage by the File node flows.
