Error description

• Server versions 7.1.1 and 8.1 introduced the 'audit libvolume'
  command.
  This command will fail on s390x and pSeries PPC Linux platforms
  (big endian)
  using lin_tape driver with IBM LTO4 drives and higher, and
  TS1130 drives and higher, with the following error message:
  
  
   ANR8302E I/O error on drive DRIVEX  (/dev/lin_tape/by-id/tapeX)
  with volume
  NONE (OP=VERIFYLIBVOL, Error Number=22, CC=0, rc =
  2863, KEY= 05, ASC=24, ASCQ= 00, SENSE=70.

  In addition to this APAR, version 3.0.24 or higher, of lin_tape
  driver is also required,
  to correct the 'audit libvolume' failure. IBM tape hardware
  support
  can be contacted to request version of lin_tape that is
  required.
  
  The problem is caused by an incorrect definition in the IBM
  lin_tape driver header file.
  IBM Spectrum Protect server uses this definition.
