IT23272: XSLT COMPILER MIGHT DEAL INCORRECTLY WITH <XSL:APPLY-TEMPLATES/> WITHOUT A SELECT ATTRIBUTE
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
Running XSL transformations using <xsl:apply-temlates/> without @select might not work as expected.
As a workaround in such a case replace <xsl:apply-templates/> by <xsl:apply-templates select="self::*/node()"/>
Affected is use of <xsl:apply-templates/> without @select in DataPower XSLT. In rare cases <xsl:apply-templates/> might not work as expected.
The fix for this issue breaks streaming, which is no problem since the issue does not exist in case of streaming processing. To activate the fix you have to select "XSLT 1.0 (IT23272)" for "XSLT version" in service's XML Manager's Compile Options Policy. "XSLT 1.0" and the new option differ only wrt the fix for this APAR. Fix is available in 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168 and 2018.4.1.0 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
