IT22442: MULTIPLE HOSTNAME ALIASES IN THE HOSTS FILE ARE IGNORED
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
On the DataPower for Linux platform, multiple hostname alias entries in the /etc/hosts file are ignored while parsing it for the Static Hosts configuration, i.e. an entry like the following: 127.0.0.1 localhost localhost1 localhost2 only extracts the 'localhost' part, but ignores all the subsequent aliases.
Use one static host alias per line.
Affected are all users of IDG for Linux and Docker, who have to use the /etc/hosts file to define DataPower's DNS configuration. By the usage of multiple static host aliases in the hosts file, e.g.: 127.0.0.1 localhost localhost1 localhost2 the unfixed DataPower firmware will only use the first alias "localhost", but not the others.
Fix is available in 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199. For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
