APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a MIME request ends in a CR but does not contain LF after
a log message is thrown which is incorrect:

"Invalid MIME package: final boundary not followed by CR
without LF."

This fix will improve message to clearly state that the message
did not end with a CRLF.

Local fix

  • Ignore log message

Problem summary

  • Mime messages contained a double negative creating confusion
about the issue reported.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in a future release.
Updated MIME messages for clarity.
