Error description

  • After running protect storage pool for a container pool to a
local copy container pool, the reclamation portion of the
process does not correctly update the volume occupancy.
Subsequent protect processes will again attempt to reclaim these
volumes but they will not go back to scratch.

    Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
Volumes showing this issue will remain in the local copy
container pool with a utilization of 0% and a status of full.
Each time the protect is run with a reclaim the volumes will be
processed in the activity log but they will not change to
    pending/scratch as expected.

    Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:
    7.1.7.0 and 8.1.0

    Initial Impact: (high/med/low)
