Error description

  • The PVU Estimate functionality shows wrong Proc_Model value for
    all Intel
CPUs with a version number, due to the client not parsing the
    correct information.

For example, consider a E5-2690v4 processor model.

A client "service" trace will show processor model as E5-2690:

    04/27/2017 09:05:27.516 [637116] [870078272] : citshared.cpp
    (
    618): Parsing line: <Brandname>Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU
    E5-2690 v4
    @ 2.60GHz</Brandname>
        04/27/2017 09:05:27.517 [637116] [870078272] : citshared.cpp
    (
    511): Processor Vendor: Intel
    04/27/2017 09:05:27.517 [637116] [870078272] : citshared.cpp
    (
    512): Processor Brand : Xeon
    04/27/2017 09:05:27.517 [637116] [870078272] : citshared.cpp
    (
    513): Processor Model : E5-2690
    04/27/2017 09:05:27.517 [637116] [870078272] : citshared.cpp
    (
    514): Processor Type : 8

                         Processor Vendor: Intel
                          Processor Brand: Xeon
                           Processor Type: 8
                          Processor Model: E5-2690
                          Processor Count: 2

On server due to this, PROC_MODEL is incorrectly reported
    without version number:

    select * from pvuestimate_details

              PRODUCT: PRODEE
         LICENSE_NAME: MGSYSLAN

           PROC_BRAND: Xeon
            PROC_TYPE: 8
           PROC_MODEL: E5-2690
           PROC_COUNT: 2

    whereas it should report:

          PROC_MODEL: E5-2690v4

Tivoli Storage Manager and IBM Spectrum Protect versions
    affected:
Client 6.4.x, 7.1.x and 8.1.x for all supported platforms
