Error description

  • Affected are WSP and MPGW gateways with HTTP or HTTPS backend on
    all supported releases.
    
    When a corrupted backend system allows connection, but fails to
    send any response back, the transaction might never time out,
    consuming resources permanently.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Affected are DataPower MPGW and WSP services with HTTP or HTTPS
    backend.
    
    If the HTTP backend is degraded in such a way that it does
    accept a TCP connection, never responds with any data and never
    closes the connection, the transaction might hang for indefinite
    time.
