Error description

  • Running server version 7.1.5 or higher (version 7.1 only), the
    following errors can be seen in the activity log:
    
    ANR9999D_3831306406  ReportSQLDiagInfo(dbieval.c:1591)
    Thread<3419129>: Missing sqlState=42968,
    sqlCode=-8001 from table. Returning rc = 9994.
    
    ANR0162W Supplemental database diagnostic information:
    -1:42968:-8001 ([IBM][CLI Driver]
    SQL8001N  An attempt to connect to the  database failed due to a
    product license
    problem.  SQLSTATE=42968).
    
    ANR0435W Session 123456 for node NODE_NAME  refused -
    internal error detected.
    
    and will cause a session/process to fail.
    
    The DB2DIAG.log will  report the following error message at the
    same time:

    This is caused by DB2 APAR IT20499, that affects DB2 10.5
    fixpack 7 and higher.
    Earlier DB2 APAR IT05544 for same condition was closed
    as corrected in DB2 10.5 fixpack 5.
    
    Tivoli Storage Manager and IBM Spectrum Protect versions
    affected:
    Server 7.1.5.x and higher  (for version 7.1 only) on all
    supported platforms
