Error description

• The SAN discovery function queries device information by using a
  function of the HBA_SendScsiInquiry application programming
  interface (API). The API function does not work when a dual-port
  Fibre Channel adapter is perceived by the server as being a
  single adapter with two ports. In this case, the server can fail
  to get tape device information from the dual-port Fibre Channel
  adapter.
  The output of query SAN may have:
  ANR2034E QUERY SAN: No match found using this criteria.
  ANS8001I Return code 11.
  

Local fix

• To resolve the issue, take one of the following actions:
  Connect the tape devices to the first port of the dual-port
  Fibre Channel adapter.
  Connect the tape devices to the second port of the dual-port
  Fibre Channel adapter and ensure that the first port is unused.
  Affected Platforms: Linux and Solaris
  Affected Release: 6.3.x, 7.1.x and 8.1.x
