IT19265: DATAPOWER MIGHT RESTART UNEXPECTEDLY IN RARE CONDITIONS OF USING CALLED RULES IN ASYNCHRONOUS CONDITIONAL ACTIONS
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
The user observed DataPower might restart unexpectedly in rare conditions of using Called Rules in asynchronous Conditional Actions.
Change Conditional Action to be synchronous or make sure the rule doesn't have a Results Action.
Affected are certain invalid DataPower configurations, with Processing Policies containing processing rules that use asynchronous conditional or call actions to ultimately execute a rule that generates an output, e.g. with a Results action. Such invalid configurations are not detected by DataPower and might result in a restart, generating a backtrace. The fixed firmware will log an error message instead.
The fix is available in 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199, 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
