Error description

  • If a cloud storage pool becomes disconnected from it's object
storage target, delete operations to the object storage will
fail. When these failures occur they will be put back on a queue
for retry at a later time. If the cloud pool remains
disconnected and/or the object storage has been removed or it's
access revoked the retry processing will continue endlessly. If
there is significant deletion work the repeated failures and
retrying can drive the creation of log entries beyond a normal
rate. This will lead to the active logs filling, which drives up
archive log usage and requires ongoing database backups that
don't seem to clear out space as the active log entries keep
    coming.
