IT16959: WTX ERROR "ONE OR MORE INPUTS WAS INVALID" WHILE PROCESSING XML INPUT DATA
A fix is available
Closed as program error.
Datapower logs shows: "One or more inputs was invalid" WTX error after upgrade to 7.2 or higher firmware.
Use GatewayScript action to strip off the XML declaration before the WTX map.
Affected is use of WTX transformation to process XML input data. If the user builds the WTX DPA map file and sets the "Type" of input card to the non-root item in the XML Scheme, then the WTX transformation may fail for input data with XML prolog.
Fix is available in 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
1. Remove XML header (<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>) from the input XML data. Or 2. Change in the native schema input card's "Type" to the "XSD" in root or change in Xerces type tree input card's "Type" to the "Doc XSD" in root. This only needs to done for the main native schema input card.
