IT16765: DATAPOWER MIGHT RESTART UNEXPECTEDLY WHEN THE COMPILE OPTIONS POLICY STACK-SIZE IS SET TO 16 MB OR GREATER
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
The customer observed unexpected restarts, reason indicated as throttle, after memory decrease to 0% flapping over to 100%, if having set the stack-size of Compile Options Policy very large, e.g. 33554432 bytes (32 MB).
Try to use the default of 524288 bytes or below, don't go beyond very large values like 10000000 (~10 MB) unless thoroughly tested and verified business reason.
When XSL transform stack is configured to 16MB 0r greater in Compile Options Policy, the appliance will account its memory incorrectly, resulting in a restart.
Fix is available in 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
