Error description

  • In an application domain (i.e. not default) that does not have
    permission to read the 'store:' directory ("default" domain is
    not a visible domain), when the probe
    is enabled the compilation of necessary internal stylesheets for
    the probe will fail with the error:
    xslt: Request failed to compile. Error opening URL
    'store:///dp/msgcat/webgui.xml.xsl' Referenced by
    webgui:///msdebug-client.xsl.
    

Local fix

  • Make sure 'default' domain is a visible domain.
    

Problem summary

  • Affected is the use of Probe in an application domain.
    
    If "default" domain is not a visble domain of the application
    domain, Probe will not work and log a compile error.
