  • Polling the domain checkpoint status provider may cause an
    unexpected appliance restart.  This data is also collected as
    part of
    the error report so that may also subsequently cause an
    appliance restart.
    

Local fix

  • Avoid polling the domain checkpoint status provider until APAR
    is applied.
    

Problem summary

  • Affected is use of domain checkpoint status provider or
    generating an error report.
    
    In low-memory situations the appliance may
    restart when generating an Error report.
