Error description
When connecting to SFTP server, such as via a log target archive upload, if the user's password contains a special character such as '@' then DataPower may generate a DNS error and fail to connect to SFTP server.
Local fix
Remove special character from password.
Problem summary
Affected are DataPower configurations with Logging Target objects using FTP or SFTP upload. If the configured file server username or password contains any of the characters ':', '@' or '%' (colon, commercial at or percent sign), the server login will fail and so will the log file upload.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 7.0.0.15, 7.1.0.12, 7.2.0.9, 7.5.0.3 and 7.5.1.2 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
