APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When connecting to SFTP server, such as via a log target
  archive upload, if the user's password contains a special
  character such as '@' then DataPower may generate a DNS error
  and fail to connect to SFTP server.
  

Local fix

• Remove special character from password.
  

Problem summary

• Affected are DataPower configurations with Logging Target
  objects using FTP or SFTP upload.
  
  If the configured file server username or password contains
  any of the characters ':', '@' or '%' (colon, commercial at or
  percent
  sign), the server login will fail and so will the log file
  upload.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is available in 7.0.0.15, 7.1.0.12, 7.2.0.9, 7.5.0.3 and
  7.5.1.2
