APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Define a filespace collocation on a decommissioned VM, the
  command fails with error  ANR2032E.and ANR9999D.
  .
  L2/Customer diagnostics:
  
  colgroup1 is a collocation group contains no members
  VM1 is a   decommissioned VM
  
  execute the following command to add VM1 in colgroup1
  
  define collocmember colgroup1 node VM1
  
  The command failed with the following error:
  
  ANR2032E DEFINE COLLOCMEMBER: Command failed - internal server
  error     detected.

  Once a VM is decommissioned some commands will no longer
  function against that filespace . In addition,  the "
  decommission VM " command also  removes the  VM  from the
  collocation group  if it was associate to any.

  V7.1 + on all supported platforms

Local fix

• When the error happens, issue " query filepsace node VM1 f=d" ,
  if the Decommissioned=yes, then ignore the error and stop
  executing "DEFINE COLLOCMEMBER" on a decommissioned VM.

Problem conclusion

• This problem was fixed.
  Affected platforms:  AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
  
  The following message will be issued:
  ANR2274W Operation is not allowed because the VM backed up to
  filespace <filesystemname>  is decommissioned.
  
  The operation will skip this filesystem and process the other
  filesystems in the list.
