Error description

  • Before db2stop, db2licm -g reports "In Compliance" but after
db2start, it says "In Violation" unexpectedly.

Here is an example output of db2licm -g after db2start:
    ---
    License Compliance Report

Last license compliance reset date: "03/14/2016"

DB2 Advanced Workgroup Server Edition In Violation
            DB2 Database Partitioning:
    ---

o The instance should not be affected by the current violation.
o This is only a report and does not stop usage of the instance
or of DB2 Database Partitioning (DPF) feature.
o The problem only occurs for DPF with terabyte licenses
    eg. db2_aese_tb.lic and db2awse_tb.lic.
