APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If multiple MQ Connection status queries are called at the same
time while the relevant MQ Queue Manager configuration objects
are undergoing changes then the appliance might restart. This
can occur at any point in the described use case, but generally
occurs only when under load or when the use case is repeated in
    quick succession.

Local fix

  • Do not check the status when modifying the object.

Problem summary

  • Parallelized shell and commit handler
access to MQqm objects causes a device reload.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix appliance reload when doing heavy simultaneous management
operations using MQ QueueManager objects by serialization or
    the shell and commit handler.
    Fixed In: 7.2.0.8 7.5.0.0
