APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While the user could successfully route DataPower B2BGW
outbound as2s:// traffic through a HTTP forwarding proxy
service making use of the User-Agent Proxy Policy, the same
    pattern failed for as2:// URIs.

Local fix

  • Point the B2BGW as2:// outbound destination to a locally
chained MPGW service with HTTP FSH, which then handles the
rewrite of the actual destination needed to be passed to the
    HTTP Forwarding Proxy.

Problem summary

  • Affected is routing of B2BGW as2:// traffic.

While routing DataPower B2BGW outbound as2s:// traffic through a
HTTP forwarding proxy service making use of the User-Agent Proxy
Policy works, the same pattern failed for as2:// URIs.
