APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • With firmware 7.2 and newer, webGUI only allows password-alias.
    User still can use the deprecated password option using CLI
    command. However, datapower does not translate the password
    option correctly in the configuration file nor in the memory.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Persisting Crypto Key with password tags the password
    was incorrectly saved as a password alias.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Assign the Crypto Key the correct tag to allow for proper
    persistance.
    Fixed In: 7.2.0.6 7.5.0.0
