IT13810: SFTP FRONT SIDE HANDLER IS STILL DOWN EVEN AFTER ENABLING THE DOMAIN

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a SFTP Front Side Handler is down due to referred  object
down, it will still be down even when the domain is enabled.

Local fix

  • Users can activate the SFTP Front Side Handler by manually
disabling and enabling the object.

Problem summary

  • SFTP Front Side Handler check was not made to enable opstate on
Domain enable.

Problem conclusion

  • On Changed Method was created to trigger a commit which will
recheck the state and bring the object into correct opstate.
Fixed In: 7.0.0.14, 7.0.1.11, 7.2.0.8, 7.5.0.0

Temporary fix

  • Manually Disable and Re-enable Object to correct op state
