APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using the rest management interface with a user with their
    access privileges defined by a group, you may unexpectedly get
    authentication errors for the URI "/mgmt/status/".

    This can occur if the access profile for the user group applies
    to all domains (*), instead of a specific domain.

Local fix

  • Change the access profile to list specific domains you need
    access to, rather than using *.

    For example changing:
    */*/*?Access=r+w+a+d+x

    to:
    */Default/*?Access=r+w+a+d+x
