IT13407: APPLIANCE MIGHT RESTART IF VERY LONG CLI COMMAND STRINGS ARE USED THAT CONSIST OF MULTIPLE COMMANDS DELIMITED BY SEMICOLONS
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
An appliance restart might occur if very long (> 2000 characters) command strings are used on the CLI where the strings consists of 10s-100s of individual commands separated by semicolons (';') and an arbitrary but valid unique command occurs very late in the string (that is, the command appears for the first time in the string near the end of the string).
Limit inline command set strings to 2000 characters or less.
An appliance restart might happen with command line strings that consist of several ';' delimited commands especially if the command starts with "co" and ends with "exit".
Fix is available in 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
