APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• While using the "Generate Key" function in "Crypto
  Tools" and specifying a password alias, the key may fail to
  generate if done in an application domain.  See example of
  error below:
  20150711T134411.300Z,AppDomain,cli,error,,,1455967,,,0x0,,,
  "keygen : 'abradab' is an unknown password alias"
  The error is not received if generating a key from the default
  domain with a password alias.
  

Local fix

• Generate the key from the default domain when using "password
  alias".
  

Problem summary

• Affected is "Crypto Tools" key generation.
  
  Password Alias would fail to be found when Generating a Key
  outside of the default domain.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is available in 7.1.0.7 and 7.2.0.2
