APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The user observed that on upgrading to DataPower 7.2.0.0,
web-mgmt and xml-mgmt service configuration did not use the
custom SSL Proxy profile defined before the upgrade anymore.
Instead it used the default DataPower 7.2.0 SSL Server profile.

Local fix

  • Access CLI or WebGUI and reconfigure web-mgmt and/or xml-mgmt
service configuration to use your custom SSL Proxy Profile
again (as before the upgrade to 7.2.0.0) or consider to create
a new similiar SSL Server profile, since SSL Proxy profile is
deprecated in release 7.2.0.

Problem summary

  • XML and Web Managemnt Services using a custom SSL proxy profile,
 may be configured with the default setting after a firmware
upgrade.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix will be available in 7.2.0.1.
