Error description

  • When the filespace authorization rules is set on the source
using set access command, replication may fail unexpectedly if
the associated node, which is referenced in a file space
authorization rule for the replicated node, does not have a
related admin id with the same name that have client ownership
    authority.

And in this case, msg ANR3187E will not be displayed. We only
get a FAILURE result when replication ends without any
    indication.

Local fix

  • To resolve the issue run "q admin XXXTSM" on the source Tivoli
Storage Manager server to check whether if this admin exist on
the source Tivoli Storage Manager server.
There would be no admin id existing on the source Tivoli Storage
    Manager server.

Now register admin XXXTSM and grant client owner authority for
node XXXTSM. Both node names are same in this case .Use command
    as below
     " grant authority XXXTSM class=node auth=owner node=XXXTSM".

run replicate node again and it should succeed.
