Error description

  • The QUERY LOG F=D displays information about the recovery log.
    "Free Space" is displayed for
      Active Log Directory
      Archive Log Directory
      Mirror Log Directory
      Archive Failover Log Directory
    The Admin Reference contains the following description for
    "Free Space":
    "Free Space" specifies the amount of active log space that is
    not being used by uncommitted transactions, in megabytes.
    This description is appropriate for the Active Log Directory but
    the description does not apply as clearly to Archive Log
    Directory, Mirror Log Directory and Archive Failover Log
    Directory.  The field descriptions and / or documentation should
    be updated to more clearly state what the "Free Space"
    represents for Archive Log Directory, Mirror Log Directory and
    Archive Failover Log Directory.

      Tivoli Storage Manager server version 7.x
