APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• With some datasets a Deflate then Inflate using algorithm gzip
  will not produce identity, rather the output message will be
  truncated.
  

Local fix

• Use Compress/Uncompress algorithm pair with Deflate/Inflate to
  resolve.
  

Problem summary

• Affected is the use of  dp:deflate(_, 'gzip')  DataPower XSLT
  extension function.
  
  Sometimes this function produces invalid base64 string (padding
  character "=" not at the end) leading to truncation of original
  input after call of  dp:inflate(_ 'gzip').
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is available in 6.0.0.15, 6.0.1.11, 7.0.0.8 and 7.1.0.5.
