Error description

  • During data movement from deduplicated storage pool, where
    objects need to be reconstructed, operation may fail with
    following error:

    ANR9999D_4216717499 CopyBatch(afcputil.c:6018)
                              Thread<739>: Unable to reconstruct
    aggregate 629339039 in
                              pool 9 since reconstruction has been
    disabled. (SESSION:
                              20, PROCESS: 11

    Server validates the number of chunks within an aggregate and if
    it exceeds 12 million chunks, server will not allow
    reconstruction and the operation will fail.

    To verify if this limit has been reached for that aggregate,
    perform following query:

    db2 "select * from BF_AGGREGATE_ATTRIBUTES where SRVID=0 and
    SUPERBFID=<aggregate>"

    For example:

    $ db2 "select * from BF_AGGREGATE_ATTRIBUTES where SRVID=0 and
    SUPERBFID=629339039"

    SRVID       SUPERBFID            ASIZE                LSIZE
    NUMFILES    RSIZE                NUMCHUNKS   FLAGS

    If the result contains more that 12 million chunks in the row
    NUMCHUNKS then this limit has been reached.
