Error description

  • During a GENERATE BACKUPSET process, if the server gets into a
    database lock conflict because of a parallel running REORG, the
    activity log may get flooded with with ANR0106E messages.
    
    Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
    The activity log may show the following messages sequence:

Local fix

  • Recycle the Tivoli Storage Manager server and disable REORG for
    tables and indexes while the "generate backupset"
    job is ongoing.
