APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If there is no st device driver in Storage Server's Solaris
  machine, Tivoli Storage Manager's device driver can configure
  tape devices which are connected to 6GB SAS adaptor.
  But Tivoli Storage Manager's device driver fails to configure
  tape devices which are connected to 6GB SAS adaptor without any
  error message if Solaris st device driver is already installed
  in the Tivoli Storage Manager server's Solaris machine.
  Solaris version is Solaris 10 update 9 with patch 150400-14.
